Senior Production Supervisor (Food Manufacturing)
Overview
My client is an established food manufacturing business based in Wexford. We are seeking a Production Supervisor to support the current Production Manager in overseeing operations across a high-output site. This is a hands-on role that involves active floor engagement, coordination of factory pods, and ensuring the smooth flow of production lines, particularly within liquid handling environments.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage designated production pods to ensure productivity, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards

Monitor daily operations and step in to resolve bottlenecks or issues in real time

Support the Production Manager in meeting output targets and maintaining compliance with food safety regulations

Liaise with Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operational flow

Maintain strong HACCP practices and GMP compliance across all processes

Contribute to the development of production SOPs and staff training initiatives
Ideal Background

Experience in a food manufacturing environment is essential

Exposure to liquid movement processes (e.g., batching, mixing, or filling) is a strong advantage

Comfortable with physical work as part of a dynamic and fast-paced operation
-
Proven ability to supervise or coordinate teams on the floor

Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety, and hygiene protocols

Flexible to work across shifts if required and respond to production priorities as needed
Open to both senior candidates with extensive factory experience and ambitious mid-level supervisors seeking progression.
