The client is an established organisation within the agricultural engineering manufacturing sector, seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative product development while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical solutions for both new and existing products
- Prepare accurate calculations, technical drawings, and detailed specifications
- Contribute to projects from initial concept through to design, production, and delivery
- Take ownership of projects, ensuring timely and high-quality completion
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant Irish and European standards and regulations
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and development
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Design Engineering or a related discipline
- Approximately 5–10 years of experience in a mechanical design role
- Experience using industry-standard design software
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- A willingness to continue developing professionally and technically
