Maintenance Technician

Location: Kilkenny

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic team in Kilkenny. This role involves maintaining and improving manufacturing processes, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring optimal equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs on production machinery.

• Conduct skilled maintenance across mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to support troubleshooting and installations.

• Support daily operations involving conveyors, depositors, pick-and-place machines, and weighing equipment.

• Monitor production processes, run diagnostics, and report on problem resolutions.

• Implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and minimise downtime.

• Provide technical feedback on equipment performance related to yield output.

• Certify and train manufacturing staff on production processes.

• Install and validate equipment to improve cycle times and production throughput.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Level 6 qualification in a technical-related discipline.

• Strong technical and fault-finding skills.

• Experience with surface mount technology is an advantage.

• Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical disciplines is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Work Order systems.
