HGV Driver – Logistics Sector

Hartley People Recruitment is seeking an experienced and reliable HGV Driver to join a well-established logistics provider based in Waterford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified driver who values safety, professionalism, and career development within a growing company.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customers across designated routes.
• Complete vehicle safety checks, route plans, and necessary documentation.
• Represent the company professionally with customers and the general public.
• Utilise a driver app to upload Proof of Delivery and job details.
• Load and unload goods in line with company procedures.
• Contribute to maintaining a strong health & safety culture within the team.
• Support the Transport Team with daily operational tasks as required.
What We’re Looking For
- A valid Artic (CE) Licence.
• Current CPC Certification.
• Minimum of 6 months’ professional HGV driving experience.
• Basic IT skills for app and documentation use.
• A forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
• A reliable, professional attitude and a strong focus on customer service.
