Automation Maintenance Technician
Location: Kilkenny
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic team in Kilkenny. This role involves maintaining and improving manufacturing processes, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring optimal equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose faults, and conduct repairs on production machinery.
- Carry out skilled maintenance work across mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to support troubleshooting and installations.
- Support the daily operation of conveyors, depositors, pick-and-place machines, and weighing equipment.
- Monitor production processes, run diagnostics, and report on resolutions.
- Implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and minimise downtime.
- Provide technical feedback on equipment performance related to yield output.
- Certify and train manufacturing staff on production processes.
- Install and validate equipment to improve cycle times and production output.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum Level 6 qualification in a technical-related discipline.
- Strong technical and fault-finding abilities.
- Experience in surface mount technology is an advantage.
- Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical disciplines is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Work Order systems.
