Hartley People Recruitment, on behalf of our client in Waterford, are seeking an experienced Scheduling Specialist to manage the day-to-day coordination of field engineers and service operations across Ireland & EU. You will be responsible for scheduling engineers, managing resources and suppliers, and ensuring excellent communication with customers and internal teams. This role is central to delivering projects on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and allocate field engineers for installations and maintenance.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of equipment/services.
- Communicate with customers to confirm appointments, resolve conflicts, and provide updates.
- Maintain accurate records of schedules, availability, and project status.
- Raise purchase orders and handle related administration.
- Coordinate closely with engineers, customer support, sales, and technical teams.
- Identify opportunities to streamline scheduling and improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience in scheduling, resource management, or project coordination (technology/engineering preferred).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with scheduling tools and MS Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of EU, UK, and Irish regions preferred.
- Experience with CRM systems desirable
