About the Role
The Regional Manager plays a key role in leading branch performance across the Cork region. This position is responsible for achieving revenue targets, managing costs effectively, and ensuring a high standard of customer service across all branches. The successful candidate will support and develop teams while maintaining a strong focus on safety, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support branches to achieve revenue targets and grow the customer base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to increase engagement and sales
- Monitor financial performance, ensuring costs are controlled and aligned with budgets
- Support branches in identifying opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to branch teams
- Plan staffing requirements, including scheduling and rota management
- Conduct regular performance reviews and support ongoing development
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience across all branches
- Drive a culture of customer excellence and continuous improvement
- Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and expectations
- Ensure all branches operate in line with company policies, procedures, and standards
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Ensure all equipment is safe, well-maintained, and ready for hire
- Support adherence to internal audits, stock control, and operational processes
- Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture
- Ensure all colleagues understand and meet their safety responsibilities
- Maintain branch presentation and operational standards across the region
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a senior sales or management role within a fast-paced environment
- Strong commercial awareness, including financial and cost management skills
- Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and planning abilities
