Trade Counter Sales

Hartley people recruitment on behalf of our client are seeking an experienced person to manage the day-to-day Store and Trade counter operations for a busy client in Waterford. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service at the trade counter, support sales, and ensure smooth daily operations, including stock control and order processing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve trade and retail customers promptly and professionally
  • Process sales orders, returns, and payments accurately
  • Advise customers on products and services
  • Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and safe trade counter area
  • Assist with goods-in, stock replenishment, and inventory checks
  • Support delivery and warehouse teams as required
  • Process supplier orders and following up with suppliers

 

 

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Full clean driver’s license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, email etc
  • Previous trade counter or customer service experience preferred
  • Good product knowledge (e.g., Power Tools, electrical, building materials) beneficial
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and proactive
