Hartley People Recruitment is working with a client of ours, a leading international trading and brokerage company specialising in the primary and secondary protein sector, to hire an International Trader in Waterford. This company operates globally, trading food commodities within the Processing and Food Service sectors.
Location: Waterford
About the Role:
Reporting to the Business Manager, the Trader will be responsible for:
- Buying and selling food
- Managing relationships with suppliers and clients via phone and
- Handling trade-related administrative
- Attending client meetings and trade
- Taking initiative in a fast-paced, high-responsibility
What We’re Looking For:
- Background in Food Science, Food Technology, Business Development, or Marketing
(preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of HACCP, and food legislation is
- Experience in food production, sales, or trading is
