Overview
A well-established and highly regarded building contractor is seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman to join their team in Wexford.
The company delivers a wide range of projects across residential, commercial, healthcare, fit-out and refurbishment sectors, with a strong focus on quality, safety, programme and client satisfaction.
This role will suit a hands-on foreman who can lead from the front while maintaining high standards of workmanship and site coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix carpentry on site
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications and technical details
- Supervise and support site operatives, ensuring productivity and quality
- Work closely with Site Management and other trades to maintain programme
- Ensure all works are completed to high quality and safety standards
- Maintain site organisation, housekeeping and tool management
- Assist with problem solving and on-site decision making
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter Foreman or Lead Carpenter
- Strong background across residential / commercial / fit-out projects
- Ability to manage a small team and coordinate site activities
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and sequencing
- Excellent attention to detail and finish quality
- Solid knowledge of health & safety practices on site
