Are you ready to build your accounting career within a high-performing and supportive professional services environment? We are recruiting a Newly / Part-Qualified Accountant to join a growing Kilkenny-based practice, working closely with senior leaders and specialist teams.

The Role

You will support a diverse client portfolio while developing your technical and advisory skills in a fast-growing practice. The role combines compliance and client-facing work, offering exposure to high-quality assignments and ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review financial accounts and tax computations for sole traders, companies, and partnerships
  • Prepare statutory accounts for client companies
  • Complete accurate accounts for sole traders
  • Prepare VAT returns and carry out bank reconciliations
  • Respond to client queries in a timely, professional manner
  • Collaborate with senior accountants and partners to deliver high-quality client outcomes

About You

  • Newly qualified or finalist accountant (CPA / ACCA / ACA)
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a public practice environment
  • Strong technical knowledge with excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Commercially aware with a strong focus on client service
  • Motivated to learn, develop, and progress your career
  • Passionate about supporting businesses to achieve their potential
