Finance Manager

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will lead a team of four within an internationally recognised brand with a strong Irish heritage. This is a hands-on role combining people leadership with strong technical and transactional finance capability, supporting accurate reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and performance-manage a team of four finance professionals

  • Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L and Balance Sheet reporting

  • Oversee accurate postings and reconciliations across Sales, Purchase, and Nominal Ledgers

  • Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations with supporting documentation

  • Manage customer invoicing, payment runs, and assist with weekly payroll

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, costing, and financial analysis alongside the Finance Director

  • Support year-end audit processes and statutory filings (VAT, PAYE/PRSI, RCT)

  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and contribute to finance automation and continuous improvement initiatives

The Person

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5 years’ post-qualification experience

  • Strong demonstrable team/people Management
  • Strong technical accounting expertise with solid month-end and year-end experience

  • Proven experience managing and developing a finance team

  • Advanced Excel skills; Microsoft BC/NAV experience an advantage

  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities

  • Proactive, collaborative, and confident communicating across the business
