Experience
For over 25 years, Hartley People has recruited for businesses across Ireland — giving us an understanding of different industries, operating models and the people behind supply chains that run well.
The right supply chain hire protects service levels, controls inventory and keeps cost in check. The wrong hire shows up quickly — in stockouts, expediting costs and missed deliveries.
Hartley People recruits logistics and supply chain professionals across Ireland, building each search around how your goods, materials and information actually move.
A job title only tells us part of the story. Before we start searching, we want to understand how your supply chain runs.
We use that information to build the search around the professional your supply chain actually needs. Not simply someone who has held a similar job title.
Supply chain roles can look similar on paper while requiring very different people.
A Demand Planner shaping the forecast needs a different skill set from a Warehouse Manager protecting daily service levels.
An ERP-heavy planning role requires a different profile from a hands-on transport role.
Recruiting a Head of Supply Chain requires us to understand S&OP, network strategy, cost and service performance as much as operational ability.
Across all major industries and at every level of seniority.

LinkedInIreland's pharma, medtech and food manufacturers run some of the most demanding supply chains in Europe, where a planning or logistics gap affects supply, compliance and patients. We understand the language — MRP and MPS, S&OP and IBP, GMP and GDP, batch release, lot traceability, cold chain, and the SAP or Oracle systems that hold it together.
Our supply chain recruitment model is built around three principles that guide every search we run.
For over 25 years, Hartley People has recruited for businesses across Ireland — giving us an understanding of different industries, operating models and the people behind supply chains that run well.
Our team of 50+ professionals is supported by 2 dedicated Strategic Sourcing Specialists, combining recruitment expertise, market knowledge and an advanced suite of sourcing technology.
A successful supply chain hire needs to work for both sides. We represent your opportunity accurately and assess candidate motivation carefully, so candidates understand the role, the operation and the business they're considering joining.
Experienced planners, buyers and logistics managers are usually already employed, keeping someone else’s operation running. Waiting for them to apply is not enough. Our search can combine:
Our two Strategic Sourcing Specialists work alongside our recruiters to identify relevant professionals and create routes into candidate markets beyond traditional job advertising.
Supply chain performance needs context. When assessing a candidate, we want to understand:
This helps your hiring team spend time interviewing candidates with genuine relevance to your operational requirement.

We don’t start with a standard search. We start with what you need the person to achieve — and build the recruitment approach from there.
With offices in Dublin and Waterford, Hartley People supports businesses recruiting logistics and supply chain talent across Ireland.
You understand your products, customers and operation. We understand how to search, engage and qualify the people who can keep it moving.
A few of the questions employers ask us most often about hiring logistics and supply chain talent in Ireland.
We recruit across planning, procurement, warehousing, distribution and supply chain leadership — from Demand Planners, Supply Planners, Production and Materials Planners, Buyers and Category Managers through to Warehouse Managers, Transport Planners, Supply Chain Managers, S&OP professionals and Heads of Supply Chain.
Yes. With offices in Waterford and Dublin, we recruit logistics and supply chain talent across Ireland, not just in the capital — including manufacturing, distribution and regional site-based roles.
Most experienced planners, buyers and logistics managers are already employed, so we don't rely on job ads alone. Our two Strategic Sourcing Specialists use direct sourcing, LinkedIn Recruiter, market mapping and our 150,000+ candidate network to reach passive candidates who fit your specific requirement.
We look at what they've planned, bought or moved, the ERP and MRP systems they've used, the KPIs they owned and what they improved — not just job titles. This helps your hiring team spend time only with candidates who have genuine relevance to your operational requirement.
Yes. We recruit planners, buyers, inventory and logistics professionals for regulated manufacturing environments — people who understand GMP and GDP, batch release, lot traceability, cold chain and the MRP discipline those sites depend on.
It depends on the seniority of the role and how niche the requirement is — a Logistics Coordinator search moves faster than a Head of Supply Chain search requiring a specific sector and systems background. We'll give you a realistic timeline once we understand what you need the hire to achieve.
Fees depend on the seniority and complexity of the role. Get in touch and we'll talk you through pricing for your specific requirement — no obligation.
Tell us about the role and what you need that person to deliver. We'll talk you through the market, the search and how we can support your hiring team.
