Hartley People Recruitment in collaboration with a valued and trusted client in the food industry is recruiting experienced Manufacturing Operatives in Wexford.
The company is looking to grow their team due to continued growth and expansion of their business across Ireland, the UK and Europe. This is an exciting time to join the company as they have big plans for their continued future development.
The ideal candidate will come from a food production background and will have in depth knowledge of food safety and quality standards. This is a Monday-Friday role with no shift, and the company are dedicated to setting a high standard working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate and maintain various machinery and equipment in the food production line, including mixers, packers, and conveyors.
· Ensure timely completion of tasks by following established production schedules and procedures.
· Perform quality control checks on all products to ensure adherence to company standards and specifications.
· Ensure a safe working environment by following all health, safety and hygiene procedures.
· Participate in cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Maintain accurate records of production data, including product codes, batch numbers, and production volumes.
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
· Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment is essential.
· Ability to operate machinery and equipment effectively and safely.
· Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
· Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
