Hartley People Recruitment is delighted to partner with our client, a well-established name in the Electrical Wholesale Industry, to find a Sales Representative for their growing team in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated sales professional with a background in electrical products or wholesale to focus on developing new business, growing customer accounts, and supporting walk-in trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development, actively reaching out to potential customers and growing the store’s client base.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing trade customers.
- Support counter sales and provide excellent customer service in-store.
- Promote and upsell electrical products to contractors, electricians, and businesses.
- Work with the branch team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Identify local market opportunities and contribute to sales campaigns.
- Prepare quotes and follow up to close sales.
Essential Competencies
- Previous sales experience in electrical products, construction, or trade sales.
- Strong product knowledge of electrical goods (or ability to quickly learn).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record in achieving sales targets.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full, clean driver’s licence.
