Production Operative
Full-Time | Permanent | Wexford
Hartley People Wexford are working closely a fantastic client to find suitably skilled candidates to take up positions within their busy and steadily growing manufacturing facility in Wexford town.
Due to the continued growth and expansion of business across mainland Europe, these positions are available immediately for the right people.
The ideal candidates will have experience working in a food manufacturing environment and will be responsible for ensuring that all food products are processed and packed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various machinery and equipment in the food production line, such as mixers, packers, and conveyors.
- Follow established production schedules and procedures to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Perform quality control checks on all products to ensure adherence to company standards and specifications.
- Follow all safety and hygiene procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including product codes, batch numbers, and production volumes.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment effectively and safely.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
