Hartley People Recruitment in partnership with our client are hiring for an Field Service Technician.
About the Role
This is a field-based position where you will travel to customer sites to service, maintain, and repair agricultural machinery. The role is well suited to someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work, problem-solving, and working independently while delivering excellent customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair of agricultural equipment, including:
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and hydraulic issues efficiently
- Perform preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns
- Complete service reports and documentation using company systems
- Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service
- Follow all health and safety guidelines at all times
About You
- Experience working as an agricultural, plant, or mechanical technician
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
- The ability to work independently and manage their own workload
- A full, clean driving licence
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
