Electronics Technician
Location: Tramore/Cork.
The Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Technician to support the maintenance, installation, and optimisation of computer and machine systems across a dynamic environment. This role encompasses both electrical and mechanical responsibilities, with a focus on reducing system downtime through effective troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing, maintaining, and upgrading in-house systems and machines.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical faults to ensure optimal performance.
- Acting as a technical support resource for non-technical team members and customers.
- Accurately documenting maintenance activities, breakdowns, and adjustments using internal systems.
- Supporting the training and development of other Technicians.
- Contributing to ongoing company wide improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety standards at all times.
- Occasional travel to other locations may be required.
Essential Requirements:
- At least 1 year of hands-on repair experience (PCs, laptops, smartphones, tablets, or custom builds) or an electronics-related qualification.
- Strong interest in technology and troubleshooting.
- Ability to solder and replace chips or capacitors on PCBs and electronic components.
- Experience in electronics diagnostics and fault finding.
- A full, clean driver’s license and own transport as there will be need to travel to Cork, once or twice a week.
