Hartley People Recruitment are seeking an experienced and customer-focused
Education Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with existing
education-sector customers. This role is responsible for ensuring customer
satisfaction, driving retention and renewals, and identifying opportunities to
expand account value through a consultative and relationship-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Customer Success
• Manage a portfolio of existing education-sector accounts within an assigned
region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with school leaders, educators, and key
stakeholders.
• Conduct regular account reviews to understand customer needs and ensure
successful outcomes.
• Develop account plans to support customer retention, engagement, and growth.
Retention & Growth
• Drive customer renewals and retention through proactive account management.
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional products, services, and solutions.
• Support customers in maximising the value and adoption of technology
solutions.
• Work towards account growth and customer success targets.
Customer Engagement
• Deliver training sessions, product updates, and presentations both virtually and
in person.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of
service.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and support customer needs.
CRM & Reporting
• Maintain accurate customer records, account plans, and opportunities within
the CRM system.
• Track account activity, customer feedback, and renewal pipelines.
• Provide regular updates and forecasting information to management.
Industry Representation
• Attend industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Stay informed on education sector trends and customer requirements.
Skills & Experience
• 3+ years’ experience in account management, customer success,
relationship management, or B2B sales.
• Proven track record of managing and growing customer accounts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong consultative and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and influence decision-makers.
• Highly organised with strong planning and time management skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and managing account pipelines.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
Desirable
• Experience within the education, EdTech, SaaS, software, or technology sectors.
• Knowledge of the Irish education landscape.
• Experience delivering customer training, onboarding, or product
demonstrations.
