Hartley People are looking to recruit an Warehousee Supervisor for our leading FMCG client based in Kilkenny.
Role Overview:
- Report directly to the Packhouse Manager and become an integral part of the management team, contributing to the daily operations of the packhouse team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Packhouse Manager for the daily processing of food orders required for packing.
- Facilitate the daily start-up of packing lines in coordination with line leaders.
- Provide continuous training for production staff and line leaders to enhance their skills and efficiency.
- Manage daily and monthly packaging stock, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Perform general packhouse duties, including recycling, cleaning, and handling ad hoc tasks as necessary.
- Strictly adhere to quality control requirements and procedures.
- Offer assistance to fellow team members as required to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Observe and implement health and safety rules and regulations in all packhouse activities.
- Foster a culture of respect among colleagues.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively.
- Strong team player, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated flexibility in attitude towards working hours, including weekends.
- Keen attention to detail and a sense of pride in delivering high-quality work.
- Punctual and diligent in the execution of duties.
