Hartley People Recruitment are working with our successful client to fill the position of an Operations Assistant based in An Rinn, County Waterford.
The Client, established in 1993, is a renowned producer of broadcast content. They specialize in creating shared sports content for various platforms, including TG4, BBC ALBA, Sky Sport, BT Sport, STV, BBC NI, BBC Wales, and S4C. Their content encompasses a wide range of sports such as shinty, hurling, Gaelic football, rugby, soccer, horse racing, boxing, basketball, swimming, cycling, and other minority sports.
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to optimise task and booking scheduling, focusing on cost and resource efficiency.
- Coordinate with producers to ensure the timely completion of production processes for each project.
- Proactively explore innovative and efficient work methods to add value while adhering to tight budgets.
- Maintain transparent communication with the Operations Manager and the production team, keeping them informed about production-related issues and relevant updates.
- Engage in weekly feedback sessions with the Operations Manager to foster a culture of open, honest, and clear communication.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and skill development to stay aligned with the clients’ evolving business needs.
- Strategically plan and organise shoot schedules and crews.
- Manage all incoming queries and requests related to the clients’ productions via operations emails or phone.
- Share suggestions for process improvements.
- Dedicate efforts to expand knowledge of the Irish language and culture, actively participating in the company’s Irish Language Plan.
- Uphold the clients’ core values.
- Adhere to policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, GDPR guidelines, and Time and Attendance policies, as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Fulfill any additional duties assigned by the Operations Manager.
