Hartley People Recruitment in partnership with our client are in search of a dedicated QC Team Leader to take charge of the day-to-day operations of our QC Microbiology testing laboratory based in Waterford.
Working collaboratively with QC Management and fellow Team Leaders, you will contribute to devising a strategy that enhances safety, compliance, and operational excellence throughout our QC laboratories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards in all laboratory activities.
- Provide analytical services and support to various manufacturing departments.
- Supervise the daily operations of the Laboratories, supporting production areas and guiding Analysts’ workloads.
- Foster the growth and advancement of team members, facilitating their achievement of both personal potential and team objectives.
- Drive and champion Continuous Improvement initiatives, positioning your team to tackle future challenges effectively.
- Assist in new product launches and product transfers by engaging with project teams.
- Develop and execute quality control systems tailored for the Waterford QC Labs.
- Guarantee that QC laboratories adhere to current Good Laboratory Practice (cGLP) and validation requisites.
Requirements:
- Hold a Science or Quality Qualification.
- Possess over 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrate an ability to embrace change and innovation, initiating novel and improved approaches to work processes.
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Prior leadership experience is advantageous.
