Hartley People Recruitment are seeking a QC Team Leader for a client, a multinational pharmaceutical and healthcare company based in Waterford City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Laboratory Compliance: Ensure that all activities conducted in the laboratory adhere to the company’s safety and regulatory standards, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
- Analytical Support: Provide analytical services and support to manufacturing departments, helping to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Laboratory Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the laboratories that support production areas, including directing the workload of analysts and coordinating activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote and support continuous improvement activities within the laboratory to prepare the team for future challenges and enhance efficiency.
- New Product Support: Collaborate with project teams to support new product launches and product transfers, ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining quality standards.
- Quality Control Systems: Develop and implement quality control systems specifically for the Waterford QC Labs, ensuring rigorous quality standards are maintained.
Key Requirements:
- Science/ Quality Qualification
- 3+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Leadership experience an advantage
