Area Sales Manager – Midlands

Working with a leading Hire Company Hartley People Recruitment are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover the Midlands area. This is the ideal position for someone committed to delivering exceptional customer service and providing complete solutions to their clients while driving growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively seek out and engage with customer prospects to generate new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively
  • Provide complete and appropriate solutions to customers, addressing their specific requirements
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify potential growth opportunities in the market
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets through effective planning and execution of sales strategies
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and local market conditions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing, delivery, and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Effectively negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers to maximize profitability
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience in the Hire business.
  • Exceptional customer service experience with a strong commitment to client satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes
  • In-depth knowledge of the local markets, including understanding customer needs and the competitor landscape
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools to manage and track customer interactions
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required
