Hartley People are currently recruiting for a 3rd year Apprentice HGV Fitter to join our client’s busy team. You will be part of a large team of fitters and work alongside an experienced fitter. This position is based in Portlaoise.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 – 5:30. Some weekends required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and repairing faults and servicing all vehicles.
- As the fitter you will service and repair our client’s full range of vehicles.
- Maintain the quality, safety, reliability and availability of our client’s fleet in a cost-effective
- Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure good housekeeping by maintaining a clean and safe workplace
- Undertake any other duties or activities as required.
Requirements:
- Be friendly with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Be diligent, with a flexible and can do approach to work
- Work well under pressure
