Working in conjunction with our client, Hartley People Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced solicitor to join a well-established Waterford-based company.
Previous experience in Irish family law, conveyancing, and litigation is a distinct advantage
The Role:
· Manage a caseload of family law matters, conveyancing and litigation matters, including conducting negotiations, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court when required.
· Advise clients on all aspects of family law, including divorce, separation, child custody, adoption, and property disputes.
· Conduct conveyancing transactions, including buying and selling residential and commercial properties, drafting contracts, and advising clients on legal and regulatory requirements.
· Represent clients in court in litigation matters, including personal injury claims, debt recovery, and contractual disputes.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, including documenting all client interactions and case developments.
· Stay up-to-date with changes in Irish family law, conveyancing, and litigation practices, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.
The Person:
· Strong advocacy and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent clients effectively in court and negotiations.
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work independently and has a hands-on approach.
· Ability to use their own initiative with being able to prioritise workload accordingly.
