Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

Server

 

Configure, troubleshoot, and manage Windows server OS, perform migrations from legacy server OS to latest editions. Ability to perform migrations of servers including Microsoft roles such as AD, DHCP, DNS, FSMO, File & Print, cert services etc.

Perform migrations of Remote Desktop Services and third-party applications, troubleshoot third party applications, and assist vendors/clients with same.

 

 

Virtualization

 

Configure, troubleshoot, and manage vSphere environments including vCentre, ESXi, virtual machines. Capable of performing installation, configuration, and migrations. Preferred certificate VCP 6 upwards.

 

Networking

 

Configure, troubleshot, and manage networks. Ability to setup VLANs, configure routing protocols, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP and troubleshot same. Preferred certification CCNP

 

Ability to configure firewalls, setup policies, implement security guidelines. Setup VPNs site-to-site, user based along with MFA as required. Preferred certificate NSE 4 upwards.

 

Backup and Disaster Recovery.

 

Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning and implementation and testing.
