People Excellence Partner – 15 Month FTC

Hartley People Recruitment is seeking a Full-time People Excellence Partner to join a leading player in the pharmaceutical sector. This is a full-time role based in Waterford.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Policy Implementation: Execute local changes based on guidelines from People Business Partners & CoE.
  • Talent Acquisition Leadership: Lead UK/IE talent acquisition efforts, supporting the Managed Service Provider for the company and contingent workers.
  • Talent Management Promotion: Advocate for talent management, succession planning, and retention initiatives.
  • Complex Guidance: Provide direction on intricate People Culture and business matters.
  • Performance Process Guidance: Assist employees and managers through performance processes; conduct year-end calibration as per CoE guidance, in collaboration with People Business Partners.
  • Global Mobility Support: Aid HRS in global employee mobility.
  • Compensation and Benefits Management: Oversee the annual compensation and benefits cycle in alignment with corporate guidelines.
  • Employee Separation and Absence Management: Manage employee separation and absence tasks, coordinating with HRS and People Business Partners when needed.
  • Contingent Resource Facilitation: Manage contingent and non-employee resources, including conversions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Local People Projects: Lead local projects related to people and workforce.
  • ESS/MSS and MyPortal Advocacy: Actively encourage employees and managers to use ESS/MSS and MyPortal.
  • Continuous Improvement Promotion: Drive continuous improvement through simplification and digitalization, partnering with People Excellence COE and HRS.
  • Organizational Management: Participate in significant organizational changes alongside People Business Partners (e.g., RIFs & expansions); offer organizational system support to line management.
  • Play to Win Culture Promotion: Encourage the implementation of a Play to Win Culture and support culture teams onsite.

Qualifications: Experience:

  • Proven success in diverse HR/People & Culture roles.
  • Handling complex cases encompassing discipline, grievance, and capability issues.
  • Experience in managing outsourced recruitment needs.

Soft Skills:

  • People and Patient Focus: Demonstrates a focus on people and patients.
  • Motivated and Agile: Highly motivated and adaptable.
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with various groups across the organization.

Communication:

  • Effective Communication: Possesses strong communication and facilitation skills.

Technical Skills:

  • Robust Project Management: Demonstrates substantial project management experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office: Proficient in using the MS Office suite.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR. Languages: Proficient in English.
