Compliance Engineer – Donegal

Hartley People recruitment are seeking to find a Compliance Engineer for a leading pharmaceutical company based in Donegal.

Major Responsibilities:

Lead Strategic Programs for Capacity Expansion & GMI

Manage project selection and control aligned with strategic objectives

Oversee Gross Margin improvement and cost reduction programs

Ensure compliance with EHS laws and company standards

Develop systematic processes to monitor product utilisation, process effectiveness, and facility capacity

Use Business Intelligence and Data Analytics tools for initiatives

Prioritise, problem-solve, manage resources, and mitigate risks in projects

Anticipate and prevent delays in project timelines

Ensure regulatory compliance for all projects

Track and communicate progress against deliverables and constraints

Review Project Plans and address issues with the Senior Management Team

Education and Background Requirements

Ideal Candidate

Education: A third level qualification in a relevant discipline, preferably with a Project Management qualification, is preferred.

Background: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations, Engineering, Technical Support, Quality, Project Management, R&D, or Supply Chain. Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment with project management skills is highly valuable. Strong strategy development, diagnostics technical knowledge, and a global work environment experience are necessary.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Strong project management and influencing abilities

Lean Six Sigma Experience or Certified Green Belt/Black Belt preferred

Demonstrated delivery of DMAIC projects
