Hartley People in partnership with our client based in Donegal are currently looking to recruit a Building Services Engineer for a full-time permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the successful execution of intricate Facility and Utility projects. This entails devising comprehensive plans and effectively controlling associated costs and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with Architects and M&E Designers/Engineers to address matters pertaining to building services and systems.
- Provide support to Design teams in the creation of site-specific Facility and Utility equipment and processes as necessitated.
- Take charge of commissioning activities, coordinating contractor efforts, and evaluating their work.
- Supervise and oversee the installation of building systems, as well as prescribe maintenance and operational procedures.
- Make informed decisions regarding existing systems and equipment, as well as optimal placements for new equipment, with consideration for their life cycles.
- Ensure that the design and maintenance of building systems align with legislative and health and safety prerequisites.
- Develop, execute, and document validation protocols, trials, studies, and associated reports relating to facilities and utilities.
- Identify prospects for integrating new technologies and spearheading continuous enhancement initiatives.
- Analyze data, interpret results, draw conclusions, and contribute insights for refining Facility and Utility processes.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures and innovative strategies to enhance Facility Operations.
- Maintain oversight of the preventive maintenance program for facilities and utilities.
Requirements:
- Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a relevant work capacity.
- Qualifications: Possess a Certificate, Craft Certificate, or a Third Level Qualification in Engineering, Automation, Mechanical, or Electrical disciplines.
