Hartley People Recruitment, in partnership with our client based in Kilkenny, are seeking a Technical Customer Service Representative who embodies a pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively handling a range of customer enquiries, particularly those of a technical or complex nature, related to products and services.
- Managing spares-related questions and concerns from customers, fitters, and installers.
- Identifying and resolving product or service issues by comprehensively understanding customer concerns, determining the root causes, and providing optimal solutions, with follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborating with the team to achieve collective goals and contribute to overall success.
- Efficiently processing customer orders received through fax, email, or phone, and verifying the accuracy of order details.
- Contacting customers to obtain any missing information on orders and facilitating the preliminary paperwork necessary for addressing issues with orders not received.
- Maintaining communication and coordination with other departments to ensure the timely completion of customer orders.
- Recording orders, sending catalogues, samples, price quotations, and other relevant information to customers as required.
- Utilising visual and spatial skills to resolve technical queries effectively.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Strong technical customer-facing experience is essential.
Skills:
- Demonstrates ownership and initiative capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle conflict in a professional manner.
- Strong attention to detail in reporting and administration.
