Hartley People Recruitment are working alongside our client who are a family business in recruiting a skilled and experienced Senior Bookkeeper/Accountant to join their team on a part-time basis based outside Clonmel. Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct month-end and year-end financial processes, including reconciliations, financial statements, and reports.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth financial operations and provide valuable insights.
- Assist with administrative tasks and offer support in other areas of the business, as needed.
- Be a proactive problem solver, anticipating financial needs and contributing to process improvements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial processes.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and error-free financial records.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a close-knit team.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, willing to pitch in wherever necessary to support the smooth running of the business.
