Hartley People Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our clients team based in Campile, Wexford.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processing of AP invoices
- Preparation and posting of customer invoices
- Monthly supplier payment runs
- Posting of AP payments & AR receipts to accounts system
- Monthly creditor & debtor reconciliations
- Issue of monthly debtors statements
- Updating suppliers information
- Communicate with suppliers & customers regarding invoices, credit control and other account matters
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Vat Returns, P30 returns and VIES returns
- Monthly balance sheet journals, prepayments, accruals, payroll & depreciation
- Assist with preparation of management accounts
- Assist with cash flow projections & review
- Assist with the preparation of year-end closeout, journals & year-end audit
- Prepare reports for service contracts reviews
Requirements:
- Qualified Accounting Technician
- 5 years’ previous relevant experience
- Experience in working with financial systems, proficiency in excel
- Prior experience of ERP systems an advantage
- Knowledge of customs compliance administration an advantage
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of accounting standards
- You will need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated, highly accurate with good attention to detail and with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
